Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OC (born March 4th, 1954)is a Canadian-American actress as well as a comedian and writer. O'Hara is the proud winner of many distinctions that include an award called the Genie Award. In 2018, O'Hara was made an Officer of Canada. In 2020 she was awarded the Governor General’s Performing Arts Performing Arts Artistic Achievement Award. O'Hara's first recognition as an actress while she was a part of The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. Together with John Candy, O'Hara was part of the main cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara, Candy, and Dan Aykroyd started work in Second City Television's sketch comedy series (1976-1984). O'Hara received high praise for her comedy acting and writing skills which earned her a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writer for a Variety Series in 1982. O'Hara was included in the new Second City artistic Advisory Board and was led by Stephen Colbert. Other members of the board were Dwayne Colbert. Tina Fey. Keegan–Michael Key. Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
